Tax Manager

We are looking for a Tax Manager to lead and manage tax matters across both the UK and international jurisdictions. This role requires strong expertise in tax compliance and advisory to support the company's ongoing growth.

Description

• Take ownership of UK corporate tax compliance, including the preparation and submission of tax returns.
• Oversee tax filings for international group entities, ensuring obligations are met across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage indirect tax compliance, including VAT/GST reporting and quarterly reviews.
• Support the business on cross-border activities, assessing potential tax risks such as permanent establishment exposure and transfer pricing considerations.
• Provide practical tax guidance on intercompany arrangements and support international expansion initiatives.
• Keep up to date with UK and global tax developments and help ensure the business remains compliant and well-positioned.
• Maintain strong tax governance through effective documentation and internal controls.
• Manage relationships with external advisers and tax authorities, supporting responses to any audits or enquiries.
• Act as the go-to person internally for tax-related matters.
• Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline tax processes, helping to improve efficiency and accuracy through better systems and automation.

Profile

A successful Tax Manager should have:

• Professional qualifications in tax or accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA).
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and reporting processes.
• Exposure to both, Direct and Indirect Taxes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Job Offer

• A competitive salary circa £75k DOE.
• Hybrid working model with two days in the office.
