Treasury Technology Manager

This role leads the delivery of treasury technology projects, including system selection, implementation and integration, for senior corporate and private equity clients. It combines hands-on project delivery with client advisory and contribution to a growing treasury advisory practice.

I am on the lookout for a tech focused treasury professional who has a passion for all things TMS. I'm recruiting a Treasury Technology Manager to delivery treasury tech projects and support the continued growth of a high-performing advisory client of mine.

Description

This role requires previous experience in treasury system selection, implementation, upgrades and integrations, alongside stakeholder management and commercial awareness. You will work closely with senior treasury stakeholders to design and deliver technology solutions that enhance efficiency, control, security and compliance

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of treasury technology projects from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, objectives and detailed project plans.
• Manage budgets, timelines, resources and project risks.
• Ensure adherence to project governance, methodologies and control frameworks.
• Provide hands-on technical and advisory support to clients.

System Selection

• Lead treasury management system (TMS) evaluations and vendor selection processes.
• Conduct vendor assessments and support RFP and due diligence activities.
• Support commercial negotiations and contracting.

Implementation & Upgrades

• Oversee implementations and upgrades of treasury systems and related technologies.
• Coordinate internal client teams and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery.
• Minimise disruption to business-as-usual operations.

Systems Integration

• Manage integrations between treasury platforms and wider enterprise systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and efficient end-to-end workflows.

Business Development

• Identify and develop new advisory opportunities.
• Support proposal development and client presentations.
• Contribute to thought leadership and market-facing initiatives.

Client & Team Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

Profile

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Technology, Business Administration, or a relevant professional qualification (e.g. AMCT).
• Proven experience delivering treasury technology projects (TMS selection, implementation, upgrades, integrations).
• Experience gained within a corporate treasury function, advisory/consulting environment, or treasury technology vendor.
• Strong understanding of treasury operations and processes.
• Hands-on experience with treasury management systems and related technologies.
• Vendor management and contract negotiation experience.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, data security and controls.
• Experience with data migration and system integration.
• Strong project management and leadership capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.

Job Offer

• Salary range of £70,000 to £75,000.
