With an established Salesforce platform at the heart of its digital strategy, the organisation is investing heavily in its digitisation agenda and seeking a senior architect to drive the next phase of platform evolution. Job Description Reporting to the Head of Digitisation, the Salesforce Platform Architect will lead the design, governance and development of the organisation's Salesforce ecosystem.Key responsibilities include:Owning the Salesforce architecture roadmap and technical strategyDesigning scalable and secure enterprise solutions across Salesforce cloudsProviding architectural guidance and governance to development teamsLeading implementation and optimisation of Salesforce Field Service capabilitiesSupporting the introduction and adoption of AgentforceDriving integration with Microsoft 365 and other enterprise systemsImproving case management, workflow automation and resource allocation processesMentoring Salesforce engineers and developers to enhance technical capability across the functionThis is a predominantly remote position with occasional travel (once a month) to Preston. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will bring strong Salesforce architecture expertise and a hands-on approach to solution design and delivery.You will have:Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect or Senior Salesforce EngineerStrong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practice architectureExperience with Salesforce Field ServiceExposure to Agentforce or Salesforce AI-driven technologiesSalesforce certifications (Architect-level certifications highly desirable)Experience of integrating Salesforce with enterprise applicationsKnowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCPStrong stakeholder engagement and technical leadership skillsA passion for mentoring and developing technical teamsCandidates must have the right to work in the UK.
