An opportunity has arisen for an Expertise Lawyer to join a well-established finance knowledge team supporting a broad range of lending and finance practices.

Working closely with senior lawyers and practice leadership, you will help drive knowledge strategy, legal innovation, training, know-how development and the adoption of new technologies, whilst acting as a trusted technical adviser to the wider finance group.

Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver legal training programmes for finance lawyers
  • Monitor legal and market developments and produce practical updates
  • Draft, maintain and enhance precedents, guidance notes and know-how resources
  • Provide technical support and advice across multiple finance workstreams
  • Drive knowledge management and legal technology initiatives
  • Support firm-wide innovation, risk management and best practice projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes, efficiency and resource sharing
  • Gather user feedback and continuously improve knowledge resources

Profile

  • England & Wales qualified solicitor or barrister
  • Strong technical finance background gained within a City, international or equivalent law firm
  • Excellent drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Interest in legal technology, AI and innovation
  • Previous PSL, Knowledge Lawyer or Expertise Lawyer experience welcomed but not essential
  • Fee-earners seeking a move into a strategic knowledge role are encouraged to apply
