An opportunity has arisen for an Expertise Lawyer to join a well-established finance knowledge team supporting a broad range of lending and finance practices.
Working closely with senior lawyers and practice leadership, you will help drive knowledge strategy, legal innovation, training, know-how development and the adoption of new technologies, whilst acting as a trusted technical adviser to the wider finance group.

Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver legal training programmes for finance lawyers
- Monitor legal and market developments and produce practical updates
- Draft, maintain and enhance precedents, guidance notes and know-how resources
- Provide technical support and advice across multiple finance workstreams
- Drive knowledge management and legal technology initiatives
- Support firm-wide innovation, risk management and best practice projects
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes, efficiency and resource sharing
- Gather user feedback and continuously improve knowledge resources
Profile
- England & Wales qualified solicitor or barrister
- Strong technical finance background gained within a City, international or equivalent law firm
- Excellent drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Interest in legal technology, AI and innovation
- Previous PSL, Knowledge Lawyer or Expertise Lawyer experience welcomed but not essential
- Fee-earners seeking a move into a strategic knowledge role are encouraged to apply
