The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Pensions & Trusts lawyer to move away from fee earning into a highly strategic knowledge leadership role.
You will lead the creation and development of a new pensions knowledge service, working closely with leading external specialists, knowledge lawyers and editorial professionals. The role offers significant autonomy, influence over product development, and the chance to help shape the future direction of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and growth of the Pensions & Trusts knowledge service.
- Oversee the drafting, review, editing and maintenance of premium legal content.
- Collaborate with external experts and specialist contributors.
- Support client engagement and identify market requirements.
- Manage, mentor and develop members of the knowledge team.
- Work with colleagues across practice areas on cross-disciplinary content initiatives.
- Contribute to product development projects and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with technology teams to enhance content delivery and user experience.
Profile
About You
- Qualified solicitor, barrister or equivalent legal professional with at least 6 years' PQE.
- Strong technical expertise across UK pensions and trusts law.
- Exceptional drafting and legal writing skills.
- Experience creating, reviewing or managing legal know-how and technical content.
- Strong organisational, stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
- Commercially minded with an interest in legal innovation, knowledge management and legal technology.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
