Description

The Trade Compliance & Sanctions Manager will be part of a small global team and will:

  • Develop and implement trade compliance and sanctions policies in line with legal requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate business activities to ensure adherence to trade regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on sanctions-related matters to internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
  • Collaborate with external regulatory bodies and respond to inquiries or investigations.
  • Deliver training sessions to staff on trade compliance and sanctions guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of compliance activities and reporting requirements.
  • Support the legal department in handling complex regulatory issues.

Profile

A successful Trade Compliance & Sanctions Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of trade compliance and sanctions regulations ideally within technology & telecoms.
  • Proven experience in drafting and implementing compliance policies.
  • A relevant degree - in Law, Accounting or equivalent.
  • Ideally you will hold an ICA qualification.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external regulators.
  • Relevant educational qualifications in law, compliance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in managing regulatory audits and investigations.
