Description
The Trade Compliance & Sanctions Manager will be part of a small global team and will:
- Develop and implement trade compliance and sanctions policies in line with legal requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate business activities to ensure adherence to trade regulations.
- Provide expert advice on sanctions-related matters to internal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
- Collaborate with external regulatory bodies and respond to inquiries or investigations.
- Deliver training sessions to staff on trade compliance and sanctions guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date records of compliance activities and reporting requirements.
- Support the legal department in handling complex regulatory issues.
Profile
A successful Trade Compliance & Sanctions Manager should have:
- Strong knowledge of trade compliance and sanctions regulations ideally within technology & telecoms.
- Proven experience in drafting and implementing compliance policies.
- A relevant degree - in Law, Accounting or equivalent.
- Ideally you will hold an ICA qualification.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external regulators.
- Relevant educational qualifications in law, compliance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in managing regulatory audits and investigations.
