You will play a pivotal role in delivering value for money, driving efficiencies and ensuring compliance across all ICT procurement activity. This is a strategically important post, central to major programmes that support the organisations digital transformation agenda and the implementation of new and emerging technologies across the institution.

Description

  • Lead, develop and implement procurement strategies across high-value Digital and ICT categories.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing projects in accordance with public sector regulations.
  • Build strong relationships across faculties, directorates and external suppliers to deliver high-quality contracting outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement, commercial risk, contract management and supplier performance.
  • Contribute directly to the university's digital transformation programme and the delivery of innovative IT solutions.

Profile

  • Strong knowledge of the ICT category
  • A track record of managing procurements in large, complex or public sector environments
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and analytical skills
  • The ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality outcomes
  • MCIPS membership or a relevant degree (or working towards)
