IT procurement Manager

The IT Procurement Associate will support the procurement and supply chain department by managing IT-related sourcing and supplier relationships. This role is pivotal in ensuring the healthcare organisation's IT needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively and to provide the best tools for all staff acrss the firm.

Description

  • Manage procurement processes for IT equipment, hardware, software, and services.
  • Identify and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and address IT procurement needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships effectively.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the procurement and supply chain department.
  • Support the implementation of IT procurement strategies to drive operational efficiency.

Profile

A successful IT Procurement Associate should have:

  • Experience in procurement, particularly with IT products and services.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and processes.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • A methodical and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry is desirable but not essential.
