Senior Buyer - IT

As a Group Procurement Senior Buyer in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry, you'll manage procurement activities to ensure the best value for the organisation. This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining supplier relationships to support the business's operations effectively.

Description

What the successful Senior Buyer will be required to do:

• Own and evolve IT / Technology category strategy across Europe maintaining direct alignment to the overall company objectives & strategy
• Lead end-to-end sourcing (RFPs, negotiations, contract execution)
• Build strong internal stakeholder relationships across IT, Digital, Marketing, Finance and Operations
• Deliver value through cost optimisation, innovation, and supplier performance
• Embed risk, ESG, and compliance considerations across the supply base
• Build strong supplier relationships and governance frameworks
• Analyse spend, market trends, and performance to drive better decisions

Profile

A successful Group Procurement Senior Buyer should have:

• Previous experience in procurement or supply chain roles, ideally within a similar industry.
• Experience within the IT category is preferred but not essential.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• A solid understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Experience managing full end to end procurement and full tender management exposure

Job Offer

What the successful Senior Buyer can expect:

• Salary between £60,000 and £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.
