Description

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to meet sales objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the insurance sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and ensure successful deal closures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with organisational goals.
  • Analyse market trends and provide insights to drive business growth.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to prospective clients.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and progress against targets.

Profile

A successful VP of Business Development should have:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the IT services industry.
  • Extensive demonstrable experience of selling into the insurance industry, ideally Lloyds of London market.
  • Strong knowledge of market trends and client engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Experience in working with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in preparing sales presentations and proposals.
