Description
- Contribute to the rebuild and modernisation of a core platform using Java Spring Boot.
- Design, develop, and optimise integrations with a range of external commerce and marketplace platforms.
- Build scalable microservices within a cloud-nativee, event-driven architecture.
- Develop solutions for complex product catalogue publication and synchronisation challenges.
- Support the migration of legacy business processes into modern platform services.
- Ensure highly accurate real-time stock and pricing synchronisation.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive technical improvements and contribute to architectural decision-making.
Profile
You will bring:
- Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies.
- Understanding of event-driven architecture patterns.
- Experience working with Kubernetes and cloud platforms, ideally GCP.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work autonomously within agile teams.
Desirable:
- Experience with Python.
- Previous experience integrating with marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, or large-scale APIs.
Job Offer
- Daily rate of £650, dependent on the level of experience.
