Description

  • Contribute to the rebuild and modernisation of a core platform using Java Spring Boot.
  • Design, develop, and optimise integrations with a range of external commerce and marketplace platforms.
  • Build scalable microservices within a cloud-nativee, event-driven architecture.
  • Develop solutions for complex product catalogue publication and synchronisation challenges.
  • Support the migration of legacy business processes into modern platform services.
  • Ensure highly accurate real-time stock and pricing synchronisation.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Drive technical improvements and contribute to architectural decision-making.

Profile

You will bring:

  • Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
  • Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies.
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture patterns.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes and cloud platforms, ideally GCP.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work autonomously within agile teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Python.
  • Previous experience integrating with marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, or large-scale APIs.

Job Offer

  • Daily rate of £650, dependent on the level of experience.
