Business Analyst
My client is looking for a Business Analyst to collaborate with the programme team and business stakeholders across the council to investigate and evaluate current Business process and their data strategy. The goal is to identify the necessary steps the local government must take to prepare for the transition to a unitary council, initially focusing on Finance, IT, Assets, and Contracts.

Description
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
- Analyse data and workflows to identify areas for process improvement.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements for technology projects.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure project alignment with business needs.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback and validate solutions.
- Create detailed reports and presentations for project updates.
- Support testing phases by reviewing test cases and ensuring requirements are met.
- Assist in change management initiatives to implement solutions effectively.
Profile
A successful Business Analyst should have:
- Experience working on technology projects within the public sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in documenting business requirements and process flows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with tools and methodologies used in business analysis.
Job Offer
- Competitive daily rate of £400 to £450, depending on experience.
- Temporary contract lasting 6 months, with potential for extension.
