Data Analyst Lead

We're looking for a skilled Data Analyst to provide maternity cover, supporting key reporting and analytics projects across the business. You'll lead BI tool transitions, streamline reporting processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions.

Description

  • Lead the migration from QlikView to Power BI, ensuring continuity and enhancement of reporting capabilities.
  • Analyse and improve reporting for a key partner programme, enhancing clarity and user experience.
  • Support the redevelopment of a web-based analytics application (Spotlight 2.0), ensuring robust data integration.
  • Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Power BI portals to ensure consistent performance.
  • Provide expert support to internal stakeholders on data-related queries.
  • Document all processes and developments to ensure a smooth handover at the end of the contract.

Profile

  • Power BI Expertise: Advanced skills in dashboard development, DAX, and data modelling. Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps is a plus.
  • Data Visualisation: Ability to create clear, compelling visuals for diverse audiences.
  • Python Proficiency: Skilled in using Python for data manipulation and automation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and experience translating business needs into data solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Proven track record of streamlining data workflows.
  • Data Quality: Experience in data cleansing and ensuring consistency across systems.
  • Legacy Systems: Familiarity with data extraction from systems like AS400.
  • AI/ML Interest: Exposure to or interest in applying AI/ML in analytics is desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Offer

  • 12month Contract
  • Competitive daily rate of approximately £350-400, depending on experience.
  • Convenient location near Aylesbury - on-site parking and 5mins from the local train station
  • Initially 5 days per week but then hybrid.
