Data and Insight Manager

We are seeking an experienced Data & Insight Manager to step into a hands-on role supporting fundraising and marketing activity during a period of transition.

This is an operational role for someone confident owning CRM systems, supporter data and reporting from day one, ensuring continuity while identifying opportunities to improve fundraising performance and supporter experience.

Description

  • Own and manage the organisation's CRM (Donorfy), ensuring stability, effective use and integration with platforms including Xero, JustGiving, Eventbrite and Raisely
  • Analyse fundraising and campaign data to deliver clear insight, reporting and performance dashboards
  • Support audience segmentation, targeting and campaign optimisation using CRM and analytics tools
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, governance and GDPR compliance
  • Build, maintain and improve automated CRM processes, email journeys, templates and workflows
  • Manage online and offline forms and associated data processes
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of fundraising and finance data in partnership with finance colleagues
  • Oversee supporter enquiries, donation processing, thanking and data logging
  • Line manage and support the Fundraising Administrator
  • Support teams with data selections, reporting and planned communications
  • Provide operational data support for events and fundraising activity as required

Profile

  • Essential:
  • Strong, hands-on experience managing a CRM system (Donorfy experience highly desirable)
  • Proven ability to use data and insight to improve fundraising or supporter engagement
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Confident owning data processes, integrations and automation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working at pace in a small, collaborative team

Desirable:

  • Experience in fundraising, marketing or the not-for-profit sector
  • Experience managing or supporting junior team members

Job Offer

  • Day rate: £250-£350 per day - Inside IR35 (depending on experience)
  • Circa 3 month contract
  • Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the office
