Digital Project Manager

The role of the Digital Project Manager involves overseeing and delivering digital initiatives within the Energy sector. Based in Coventry, this temporary position focuses on managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with business objectives.

Description

  • Lead end-to-end project management for Digital & AI initiatives including:
    • Statistical animation tools for performance visualisation
    • Development for product traceability and compliance
    • Generative AI applications for internal and customer-facing solutions
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and external partners to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics
  • Manage project plans, budgets, risks, and resources to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and promote agile best practices
  • Ensure alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Track and report progress to leadership, identifying and resolving blockers proactively
  • Support documentation, compliance, and integration with broader digital transformation efforts

Profile

  • Proven delivery in technical project management, preferably in AI, digital delivery, or software development environments
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, machine learning work-flows, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Gi.t, and project management software
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are advantageous

Job Offer

  • Daily rate on offer of £375-400 p/d (Inside IR35)
  • Initial 6 month contract
  • Opportunity to work on impactful projects with the ability to scale post the initial 6 months of delivery
  • Hybrid working, 2-3 days on site depending on project state
