- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide line management, support, and development.
- Oversee service delivery, including user support and incident management.
- Lead and support the organisation in cyber and security best practices.
- Develop and implement IT operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection regulations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
- Monitor and manage budgets related to IT operations.
- Lead and support IT projects to enhance organisational efficiency.

Profile
This successful IT Operations Manager should have:
- Proven experience in IT service management or operations within a professional environment.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Office 365, Azure, and cybersecurity platforms like Sophos Central (or similar).
- Proficiency in cyber and security best practices
- Experience within non-profit, charity, or membership-based organisations.
- Ability to manage IT budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
- Understanding of data protection laws and IT security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Background in cloud migration projects.
- Experience in leading IT projects and delivering improvements.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Offer
- Competitive daily rate of approximately £400-£600, dependent on experience.
- Based in London, requiring 2 days a week on site.
