Description

• Provide first-line IT support to staff and stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems across various devices and systems.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or in person, maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Document and track reported issues and solutions using the organisation's ticketing system.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and IT security protocols.
• Support the Technology department in implementing new IT initiatives and upgrades.
• Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT systems and tools.

Profile

A successful IT Support professional should have:

• Practical knowledge of troubleshooting common hardware and software issues.
• Experience using IT ticketing systems to manage support requests effectively.
• An understanding of IT security and data protection principles.
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
