PMO Lead
An experienced PMO Lead is required to strengthen project delivery across a portfolio of technology initiatives within a local government setting. This role will establish governance frameworks, enhance reporting, and ensure projects are aligned to strategic priorities while supporting delivery teams and improving PMO processes.

Description
- Develop and implement PMO governance frameworks and standards.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular stakeholder reporting.
- Align resource allocation with organisational priorities.
- Lead risk and issue management across project portfolios.
- Support delivery teams to meet key milestones and deadlines
- Coordinate communication across teams and departments.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Identify and implement PMO process improvements.
Profile
- Proven experience as a PMO Lead or PMO Manager.
- Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and project delivery methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, MSP).
- Experience in portfolio reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within public sector or local government environments is highly desirable.
