PMO Lead

The PMO Lead will oversee project management activities and ensure efficient delivery of technology initiatives within the public sector. This temporary role is ideal for someone with a strong background in project governance and strategic planning. You will be working on their housing programme.

Description

• Develop and implement project governance frameworks to support technology initiatives.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure resource allocation aligns with organisational priorities.
• Facilitate risk management strategies across all projects.
• Support project teams in meeting deadlines and deliverables.
• Coordinate communication between various teams and departments.
• Maintain documentation and reporting for all ongoing projects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the PMO.

Profile

A successful PMO Lead should have:

• Experience in project governance and management within the a local council or housing environments.
• Knowledge of best practices in resource and risk management.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• A track record of delivering projects within time and budget constraints.

Job Offer

• Daily rate of £500 to £550, based on experience.
• A 6-month contract with potential for extension.
