Projects Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced projects based Business Analyst to join a professional services firm. The role requires expertise in analysing current projects, identifying improvements, measuring project delivery and creating value from the strategic projects.

Description

• Analyse and evaluate existing projects
• Understanding value creation around project delivery
• Setting up key KPI metrics to measure project delivery and value creation
• Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Understand current state systems/processes and able to define future state
• Analyse and evaluate business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Support the design and implementation of innovative IT solutions.
• Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making and strategy development.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Business Analyst should have:

• Proven experience in business analysis within the financial services industry or professional services
• Experience with delivering transformation or integration projects
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodology
• Experience with deriving continuous improvements from projects
• Experience with measuring project value and defining benefits creation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of IT systems and their application within the financial services sector.
