Senior Business Analyst
The primary role of the Senior Business Analyst is to ensure business needs are clearly understood and turned into the right technology solutions. They will have hands-on experience with trading systems and financial market processes, including how trades move through their full lifecycle.

Description
- Act as the link between business teams and IT teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and problems.
- Gather, document, and analyse business and technical requirements.
- Map out business processes and help design technical solutions.
- Work with front-office development teams to align system designs and features.
- Present ideas clearly and confidently, including system designs and technology solutions.
- Help start projects, support delivery, and ensure knowledge is shared across teams.
- Support technical design decisions, with a focus on performance, stability, and scalability.
- Work with Quality Assurance teams to ensure thorough testing.
- Make sure software is delivered on time and meets business expectations.
- Follow required training programs and regulatory standards.
Profile
A successful Senior Business Analyst should have:
- Strong background in cash equities trading with extensive OMS and EMS trading systems experience
- Comprehensive Trade Flow knowledge and required experience in all types of execution - High Touch, Program Trading, DSA and DMA.
- Experience with MiFID trading reporting
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or Solution Lead.
- Project management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. JIRA).
- Familiarity with software delivery tools (e.g. issue tracking, documentation, CI/CD tools).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £130,000 to £150,000 per annum.
