Test Lead
*This is a 6 week assignment*
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing functional testing as new system components are released. Working closely with both internal teams and the external supplier, you'll lead the testing effort, ensure defects are captured and resolved, and provide clear visibility of progress and quality throughout.

Description
- Define the testing approach and deliver supporting documentation
- Develop test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Carry out functional testing across the end-to-end workflow
- Log defects, track progress, and manage retesting
- Liaise with supplier and project stakeholders to resolve issues
- Produce regular updates and a final summary report to support deployment decisions
Profile
- Strong background in leading structured testing activity
- Experience within a consultancy providing services to public sector organisations
- Experience coordinating with external vendors or system providers
- Solid understanding of functional/system testing principles
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines
