Job Description
  • Alignment of the Company's legal strategy and acting as an ambassador of the business in all interactions, working alongside the wider legal teams within the Group.
  • Acting as the main legal point of contact for the EMEA Sales and Accounts executive.
  • Providing accurate, relevant and timely advice to the business on a wide range of legal and business matters.
  • Providing support and education for the implementation of the Group's contract lifecycle management system to ensure fast, efficient contracting through workflow automation.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the business.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts/agreements relating to customers and third parties as well as support of RFPs and other complex matters.
  • Supporting the drafting and implementation of Company policies.
  • Taking a key supporting role in governance and compliance activities e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001, ISO9001, and keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect the Company.
  • Supporting the Supplier Management team with onboarding of suppliers e.g. negotiating contracts, providing supporting documentation.
  • Supporting work relating to the placement of corporate insurances e.g. Professional Indemnity, working closely with industry professionals to help assess risk and ensure the business is adequately protected.
  • Ensuring the Company's trademark portfolio is maintained and liaising with third parties as appropriate.
  • Providing first line support to the Group HRD and the global HR team on employment matters.
  • Producing, updating and maintaining precedent documentation and contract databases.

  • The ability to communicate in a clear, concise and open manner, avoiding legal jargon.
  • Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong licensing experience and an interest in software in general.
What's on Offer
  • Qualified solicitor and admitted to practice law in the United Kingdom.
  • 1-2 years + relevant inhouse or industry experience.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating Master Agreements, Statements of Work, Change Requests, Professional Services Agreements, SaaS and Subscription Agreements.
  • Experience working with third parties (distributors, subcontractors etc.) and referral agreements.
  • Previous exposure to multi-jurisdictional and cross-border international contracts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales with the ability to prioritize accordingly.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
  • Proactive and energetic with a positive attitude
