Application Analyst ( DMS)
An Application Analyst (DMS APP) is required to provide technical expertise and support to a professional services firm, adept at troubleshooting and optimising software applications.

Description
- Provide second and third-line support for iManage, including administration, configuration, and issue resolution.
- Monitor application performance and work with vendors and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Support document management processes, version control, metadata, and filing practices.
- Ensure consistent delivery of BAU services, including patching, upgrades, system monitoring, and documentation.
- Assist with iManage on boarding and off boarding processes for staff.
- Liaise with business professionals to gather application feedback and translate needs into actionable system enhancements.
- Act as a point of contact between business users and vendors for application issues or improvements
- Collaborate on projects involving AI tools (e.g., document and process automation applications).
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of AI-powered applications.
- Support the integration of AI features into existing systems, ensuring data integrity and user adoption.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- On Premise DMS Experience essential.
- Work 10 Desktop Client, previous versions an advantage.
- Experience with 3rd Party Workspace Generation tools and an understanding on how the underlying data to drive these jobs is obtained.
- Experience with 3rd Party Document Import Tools for scheduled document imports and custom imports e.g. To facilitate new client data or personnel on boarding.
- iManage Control Centre configuration and administration.
- Support and troubleshooting of iManage Client, Server, and 3rd Party toolsets, both remotely and in person.
- Experience of performing in-place upgrades of iManage Server Components and 3rd Party toolsets.
- iManage Work REST API knowledge
- Ability to patch Microsoft Servers and bring services back on-line.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and MS Entra ID.
- Ability to write and optimise complex SQL queries and scripts.
- Proficient in developing T-SQL (Transact-SQL) for data manipulation and reporting.
- Experience with stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Experience of iManage Cloud and migrating to iManage Cloud an advantage
- Knowledge of database security best practices and user access controls.
- Proficient in using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and other tools for database troubleshooting.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting to automate complex administrative tasks and workflows and knowledge of executing scripts against REST APIs in a secure manner
