IT Technician

The IT Technician will play a key role in supporting the technology needs of a not-for-profit organisation. This temporary position is based on the outskirts of Liverpool.

Description

• Provide 1st line support on site
• Help set up IT systems and equipment
• Provide technical support to staff, ensuring IT systems run efficiently.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Assist with IT-related projects to improve organisational efficiency.
• Monitor IT systems to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and software licences.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy protocols.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and tools.

Profile

A successful IT Technician should have:

• An enhanced DBS
• Experience of fits line support
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of network configuration and maintenance.
• Familiarity with IT security practices and data protection regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Offer

• Competitive daily rate of approximately £150 to £180 (inside IR35).
