Interim IT Procurement Lead

We are currently recruiting for an Interim IT Procurement Lead role to join a growing organisation. This interim position based in Leeds requires expertise in IT procurement and the ability to manage and negotiate with suppliers effectively.

Our client are going on an exciting growth journey and so require the support within the IT Procurement team to help streamline suppliers, cut costs through expert negotiations and manage a number of IT & Tech suppliers. The role is based in Leeds and would be working on a hybrid basis.

Description

As Interim IT Procurement Lead duties will include, however, not be limited to:

  • Manage IT contracts with Tier 1 suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of services.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and priorities.
  • Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.

Profile

A successful Interim IT Procurement Lead should have:

  • Proven experience in IT procurement.
  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills with Tier 1 or large Tech Suppliers.
  • Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Offer

  • Competitive daily rate of £500-£600 Inside Ir35 depending on relevant experience.
