Client Details

This role is working for a Global Engineering company within the food and beverage sector. This role would be mainly office based in Runcorn.

Description

• In this role you will be working on software which connect to hardware
• The software you are working on tells the device / machine what to do and you work on both parts
• The software links to packaging lines, labellers, xray machines, metal detectors, wrappers, packaging machines etc
• You will be testing software to a device / small piece of equipment
• Contribute to the next generation of core products
• Focus on enabling the driver development process, from communication with the manufacturer and specification of the driver's behaviour down to testing device driver, documentation and troubleshooting

Profile

Must haves:

• Testers on BOTH Software AND Hardware

Nice to haves:

• Degree or background in Electronics, electrical, mechatronics, robotics, engineering

Knowledge of:

• Drivers
• Signals
• Comms
• Industrial protocol
• HEX
• Device protocol
• External comms interface
