Analytics Manager

Our marketing team is undergoing an exciting transformation and we’re looking for exceptional talent to join us. As we build a more digitally focused, data-driven marketing function, we’re looking for an experienced Analytics Manager to lead our marketing analytics and insight capability and help shape a truly data-driven organization.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for turning complex data into clear, actionable insight that improves marketing effectiveness, customer experience and commercial performance across both retail and wholesale channels, online and offline.

As a member of the Marketing Leadership Team, you’ll own the marketing data, measurement and analytics agenda, leading a small hands-on team and working closely with Marketing, Digital, IT, Finance and Commercial teams.

About the Role & About you

As a member of the Marketing Leadership Team, you will shape marketing strategy through insight, leading a small, hands-on analytics and database team. You will work closely with Marketing, Digital, IT, Finance and Commercial teams to turn complex, disconnected data into a clear and trusted view of customers, campaigns and performance.

You will thrive in this role if you are commercially minded, pragmatic and comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels. You care about insight that drives action, not just reporting. You are a clear communicator who can translate complex analysis into simple, compelling recommendations and are confident influencing senior stakeholders in a fast-evolving environment

Your Responsibilities:

  • Own the Marketing Analytics Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define what is measured, how performance is tracked and how insight drives decisions
  • Translate marketing and commercial objectives into clear KPIs and measurement frameworks
  • Balance strong data foundations with higher-value analysis and insight
  • Build Reliable Data Foundations for Marketing
  • Own marketing data models, customer definitions and data governance
  • Ensure robust data integration across key systems and platforms
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, accuracy and consistency
  • Marketing Measurement, Reporting & Performance Management
  • Design and own marketing dashboards and reporting suites
  • Deliver clear insight on performance, opportunities and actions
  • Support planning, budgeting and optimization decisions with data
  • Advanced Analytics & Insight Generation
  • Lead customer segmentation, lifetime value, retention and predictive analysis
  • Answer key commercial questions through deep analytical insight
  • Partner with marketing teams to drive test-and-learn activity
  • Leadership of the Marketing Analytics & Database Team
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing analytics and database team
  • Set priorities, standards and ways of working

What We're Looking for From You:

  • Significant experience in analytics within customer-centric environment
  • Proven success improving commercial measurement and driving better decision making.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • SQL, Python or Excel
  • BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or equivalent)
  • Advanced analytics and modeling
  • Experience with data integration, quality and governance
  • People development experience, including coaching and development

Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) was founded in 1972 as a part-time venture providing car servicing and tyres. Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2100 employees - company wide. To support this business, we have built a wholesale distribution network of 14 sites around the UK supplying over 6,000 retailers and our own retail chain Protyre which is consistently growing.
