EPR Business Engagement Analyst

Job summary

As a key part of a dynamic and evolving team, the Business Change and Engagement Analyst will have a strong client focus, manage complex and sensitive information, liaise and communicate with clinical and non-clinical staff as necessary to ensure all requests are delivered within our published Trust information security policies.

This role includes a wide range of clinical engagement and business analysis services to support digital projects, including the documentation of current and future patient pathways, clinical requirements as part of Trust EPR strategy development and migration, and automation of manual paper-based processes to ensure that the services meet the clinical and operational needs of the Trust.

Main duties of the job

EPUT and MSEFT are embarking on the implementation of a UK first of type Unified Electronic Patient Record (UEPR) system that spans Acute, Mental Health and Community services. The new system will be delivered through the Nova Programme, alongside our commercial partners for this significant transformative journey.

Job responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Pro-active enablement of the digital strategy.

Use negotiating skills, balancing the requirements in conflicting circumstances.

Resolve queries or questions in relation to the EPR and associated systems in clinical and non-clinical settings.

Assess the impact of system changes proposed by other Trusts on use of the systems by users in the Local Health Community.

Provide ad-hoc project related work, leading where required.

Development of user guides, standard operation procedures and eLearning packages.

Implement new working procedures in both clinical and non-clinical settings.

Support team members regarding technical and professional responsibilities.

Mapping out project and activity plans and schedules.

Designing and developing programs.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential
  • General education to degree level or equivalent work experience
Desirable
  • Higher level qualification ECDL or equivalent IT certification

Knowledge

Essential
  • Relevant experience in training and engagement. Experience in Referral to Treatment (RTT) pathways and national guidelines. Experience using IT systems in a professional capacity. Working on projects implementing new Digital services.. Working with different departments and organisations with all
Desirable
  • Working within the NHS Understanding of how NHS works System administration experience
  • Advanced IT knowledge, e.g. MS Project, access
