Business Analyst

A specialist equities trading technology firm is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to support the delivery of innovative trading solutions for institutional clients. This role is critical to bridging commercial client needs with internal technology teams, ensuring high-impact functionality is effectively scoped, prioritised, and delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acts as a central liaison between external stakeholders and internal engineering teams across the product lifecycle.
• Captures, analyses, and refines requirements into actionable user stories and functional specifications.
• Coordinates with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless execution and implementation.
• Supports backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release cycles in an Agile environment.
• Translates regulatory and operational needs into scalable, reliable product features.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Technical BA within trading, financial software, or capital markets environments.
• Familiarity with equities market structure, order management systems, and low-latency trading platforms.
• Strong documentation and requirements gathering skills, with a pragmatic approach to technical detail.
• Comfortable liaising across business, technical, and client-facing teams to drive delivery.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol, microservices, or cloud-native architectures is advantageous.
