Linux Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities for the Linux Infrastructure Engineer:
- Manage, maintain, and optimise Linux-based systems across production and development environments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with application teams to support deployments and integrations.
- Automate routine tasks and contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including patching and compliance monitoring.
- Participate in on-call support rotations and incident response activities.
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and process improvements.
Linux Infrastructure Engineer:
- A STEM based degree
- 1-3 years of experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, or similar distributions).
- Experience with shell scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance tuning.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of security practices within a regulated environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
