Senior Business Analyst
Senior Business Analyst - Global Financial Services Leader London (Hybrid). A renowned electronic trading firm is expanding its UK and European product management function and is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join its global engagement team in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, product, and client delivery-partnering with internal stakeholders across development, operations, sales, QA, and senior leadership, while engaging directly with a prestigious, global client base.
A major new programme of work starting in 2026, will see the successful Senior Business Analyst, working a major market data projects across the European markets.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Business Analyst:
- Act as a bridge between business and technology across a suite of trading platforms and products.
- Gather and analyse client business requirements, translating them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Manage project scope, identify risks, and propose contingency plans.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects within the product management lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor a team, be a key contributor to hiring and the expansion of the team.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Produce high-quality documentation of business requirements and analysis.
What the Senior Business Analyst will need:
- A degree in a STEM-related discipline (essential).
- Minimum 8 years' experience as a Business Analyst within financial services.
- Experience working with senior internal and external stakeholders with experience working with institutional businesses.
- Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, UML (Unified Modelling Language), and BPMN.
- Proven track record in Agile environments (Scrum and/or Kanban).
- Solid understanding of UK regulatory frameworks and Capital Markets.
