Technical Operations Engineer

We're working with a leading financial data provider that connects directly into global exchanges, delivering high-performance market data solutions to institutional clients. As part of their continued growth, they're looking to hire a Technical Operations Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to support and enhance their real-time data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain production systems that ingest, normalize, and distribute exchange data
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Linux-based environments
• Write and maintain scripts to automate operational tasks and improve system reliability
• Collaborate with engineering and client-facing teams to ensure seamless data delivery
• Support onboarding of new exchange feeds and client integrations
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis

Essential Skills

• Strong proficiency in Linux (system-level troubleshooting, shell commands, process management)
• Solid scripting experience (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar)
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, multicast, latency-sensitive environments)

Nice to Have

• Exposure to FIX protocol and financial messaging standards
• Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and investigation
• Business domain experience in Equities, Futures, Options, or Derivatives
• Experience supporting trading systems or market data platforms
