Trading Systems Support Analyst - London - Hybrid - Miller Maxwell has been retained by a well-established electronic trading organisation to hire a Trading Systems Support Analyst for their London team. You'll be central to keeping high-performance trading infrastructure running smoothly, supporting systems that trade across multiple asset classes on a global basis.
Responsibilities for the Trading Systems Support Analyst :
- Work directly with front office users to provide trading and software support.
- Own 1st and 2nd line support for real-time trading systems
- Improve performance and reliability.
- Use Python to automate processes.
- Use AI to improve reliability and automate processes.
- Own system improvements and platform monitoring.
- Work closely with 3rd software providers, exchanges and brokerages.
Experience requirements for Trading Systems Support Analyst:
- 4 years commercial experience in a technical support - trading support - software support position.
- A degree in a STEM-related subject
- Proven experience supporting in a financial services-related environment.
- Experience of electronic trading systems - Electronic trading software.
- Extensive Linux experience - including Python scripting.
- Experience with prometheus or Grafana or Zabbix.
- Experience with networking.
- Ability to work with front office users and senior stakeholders across the business.
