About the Role

Miller Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project & Infrastructure Engineer to join our small team. This role offers a competitive salary, a great working environment and the opportunity to play a key part in delivering technical projects and supporting customers.

Some out-of-hours work and travel will be required when necessary. A full, clean driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver IT migration and refresh projects.
• Design and implement new equipment installations.
• Maintain and upgrade security systems, including firewalls, antivirus and email security.
• Provide senior-level 3rd line technical support and assist 1st and 2nd Line Engineers.
• Monitor internal and customer infrastructure, including servers, networking and storage.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent service.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the IT industry; MCP desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, networking, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, switches, routers and wireless technologies.
• Experience with Hyper-V, VMware, remote access tools, backups and antivirus administration.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with server migrations, site installations and server networks.
• Experience supporting systems such as telephone systems, CCTV, CAD, SQL, ERP and accounting software is desirable.
