Business Development Associate - AI-Powered FATCA/CRS Compliance

Role Description
- We are seeking a proactive and motivated Business Development Associate to support WealthComply’s commercial growth
- This role is ideal for an individual with 2+ years of experience who is confident speaking with clients, highly organised and eager to develop within a sales and business development function
- You will play a central role in driving outreach, supporting client engagement and ensuring our sales pipeline and marketing efforts are effectively executed
- This position is ideal for someone who is confident engaging with senior stakeholders and eager to pursue growth opportunities into other senior position.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective clients within target markets such as wealth managers, trust companies, fund administrators and private banks
- Make introductory outreach calls, schedule meetings and follow up with leads generated through campaigns or referrals
- Prepare briefing notes and client summaries to support meetings and ongoing sales activity
- Keep the CRM system up to date, ensuring the pipeline remains accurate and well organised
- Help refine sales and marketing materials; review messaging and presentations to ensure consistency and professionalism
- Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns, outbound initiatives and event coordination
- Monitor and report on lead activity, conversion rates and overall client engagement trends
- Share feedback and new ideas to strengthen sales processes and improve communication with prospective clients
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in a commercial, client facing, or business development role (preferably in technology, financial services, or a related sector)
- Confident communicator who can engage senior professionals with professionalism and credibility
- Strong organisational and research skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities
- High level of initiative and curiosity, with a willingness to learn about compliance technology and wealth management
- Collaborative approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tech savvy with proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently in a business context
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with FATCA, CRS, or related compliance topics
- Exposure to trust companies, private banks or fund administrators
- Interest in fintech and how compliance technology supports financial institutions
- Experience in a dynamic or early stage company environment
