Our client are a friendly, growing company based in Hertford, specialising in commercial and residential security solutions. From smart CCTV systems to advanced access control, they help clients feel safe and secure every day and are now looking for someone equally enthusiastic to join their IT team.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Junior IT Support Technician to join a small but dynamic IT department. You’ll be working closely with two experienced IT professionals who will provide full training and ongoing support. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s passionate about technology and eager to kick-start their IT career.

What You’ll Do

• Provide first-line IT support to colleagues and assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Help set up and maintain laptops, PCs, mobile devices, and networking equipment.
• Support with system updates, backups, and monitoring network performance.
• Assist with user account management and access control systems.
• Learn to diagnose and resolve technical problems in a professional, friendly manner.
• Get involved in IT and security-related projects as your confidence grows.
• Ad-hoc admin tasks based on company needs
