Founding Product Engineer

Founding Product Engineer | AI | London / Hybrid | up to £120,000 base + equity

Our client is looking for a Founding Product Engineer to help solve one of the biggest and most complex challenges in AI.

This role would suit a Product Engineer who blends strong software engineering credentials with product thinking and a high-agency mindset.

The problem they have identified has earned them serious investment and they would love a full stack engineer to join them in transforming the AI space.

What we're looking for:

• 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience, within startup or scaled tech environments
• Full‐stack with strong TypeScript who is comfortable jumping between frontend and backend
• Startup mindset: high agency, initiative, and ownership
• Product sense: can frame problems, propose pragmatic solutions and make trade-offs
• London-based and enjoys working in an office 2/3 days per week

Nice to have:

• Experience with Next.js and Prisma (or similar stacks)
• Exposure to AI/ML or Data Science
• Demonstrable side projects showing ownership and hustle
