Business Development Manager
We are currently working on an exciting opportunity with one of our clients, one of the largest independent suppliers in their industry. Our client has a real family feel to their business, with a strong reputation for great quality and service, they are looking to expand further into the industrial sector.
To support this growth, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team to drive new business opportunities, build and maintain new and existing customer relationships and drive brand awareness.
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience within sales and generating new business. The ideal candidate will also have a background in paint or coatings.
Key responsibilities for a Business Development Manager:
 
- Drive new business opportunities, generate sales and bring new customers into the business
 - Build and maintain new and existing customer relationships
 - Technical support including demonstrations and answering queries
 - Travelling to clients throughout the Southeast and meeting with prospect customers
 
 Key skills for a Business Development Manager:
 
- Proven experience within Sales and winning new business
 - Self-motivated
 - Commercial acumen
 - A background in paint/coatings - advantageous
