Role Description
The Telecom Sales Manager is a full-time, remote position. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the SMB vertical, building and managing a team of sales hunters, managing a portfolio of clients, and building long-term relationships to meet sales targets. You will develop and implement sales strategies, manage a growing sales team, oversee client onboarding and communication, and provide support to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to stay informed about product offerings and market trends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management in the UCaaS sector, with an emphasis on sales to the SMB and mid-market community
- Strong understanding of telecommunications, cloud-based phone systems, Microsoft Teams and communication solutions
- Management of a sales team, including hiring talent and oversight of KPI
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales software
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
