Change Manager - Operational Readiness

MBNL is at the forefront of transforming the UK’s mobile infrastructure, and we’re looking for a Change Manager to join our Transformation & Change Management team. Reporting to the Head of Transformation & Change Management, you’ll play a pivotal role in embedding change across MBNL, ensuring our people, processes, data, and tools are fully ready to adopt new ways of working.

This role is critical in ensuring that transformational initiatives land successfully, align with our strategic goals, and deliver measurable benefits to our business and partners.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week based in our Central Reading office.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and deliver Change Impact Assessments (CIA) to identify gaps between current and future states across organisational design, processes, roles, tools, and data.
  • Develop and manage Business Readiness Plans , integrating workstreams across people, process, IT, communications, training, data, and reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively across matrixed teams, including MBNL, Shareholders, Suppliers, and key business stakeholders across IT, Commercial, Portfolio, Finance, HR & People, and Business SMEs.
  • Support the Head of Transformation & Change Management in embedding readiness into project and programme governance and decision-making.
  • Monitor readiness metrics, adoption, and engagement to inform go-live and exit decisions.
  • Lead the implementation and execution of the post–go-live support framework .
  • Champion continuous improvement, challenge the status quo, and act as a role model for the MBNL Way.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience leading business/operational readiness activities within large-scale transformational change programmes.
  • Expertise in change impact assessment, readiness planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of organisational design, process improvement, and tools & data readiness.
  • Background in telecoms or infrastructure sectors (preferred, but not essential).
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence at all levels and drive engagement across diverse teams.

Nice to have:

  • Professional qualification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG).
