Infrastructure Intelligence Lead
Permanent
Reading - 2 days/week hybrid
Turn data into insight. Improve performance. Enable smarter infrastructure decisions.
The Infrastructure Intelligence Lead plays a critical role in delivering insight that improves the reliability, efficiency, and value of MBNL’s network infrastructure. Sitting within the Infrastructure directorate, this role uses data, analytics, and performance frameworks to provide a clear view of asset performance—supporting maintenance, investment, and operational decision‐making.
Working closely with Asset Management, Operations, and senior stakeholders, the role translates complex data into actionable insight that protects service, reduces risk, and drives continuous improvement.
Why this role matters:
MBNL’s ability to deliver high‐quality network performance depends on strong data, clear insight, and informed decision‐making. This role provides the evidence base that underpins performance improvement, risk management, and investment prioritisation.
By embedding consistent metrics, robust analytics, and clear reporting, this role helps MBNL operate more efficiently, respond proactively to risks, and maximise value from its infrastructure assets. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Central Reading office.

• Develop repeatable analytics and reporting processes to support consistent insight
• Support asset and reliability programmes, including maintenance strategy and lifecycle optimisation
• Provide evidence to inform investment decisions and operational interventions
• Support governance processes, including performance reporting, assurance, and audit requirements
• Identify opportunities for automation, improved data quality, and continuous improvement
