An exciting opportunity to join an innovative and forward-thinking business within the freight forwarding and logistics sector, in a newly created role with genuine scope to shape and improve the way the business operates.

With established operations across ocean freight, air freight, customs and supply chain management, the business is continuing to invest in technology, operational efficiency and process improvement.

This role is particularly well suited to an experienced freight forwarding professional with strong CargoWise experience who has moved, or is looking to move, into business systems, business process management or continuous improvement.

The Role

As CargoWise Business Process Manager, you will take ownership of the ongoing optimisation and development of CargoWise across the business.

Working closely with Operations, IT and key stakeholders, you will identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve productivity, strengthen data quality and maximise the value of CargoWise.

You will be the link between operational requirements and practical systems and process solutions — taking improvements from identification and design through to testing, implementation and adoption.

The role offers a broad remit across CargoWise optimisation, business process improvement, project management, SOPs, KPI performance, data quality, training and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement and CargoWise optimisation across the business.
• Analyse existing workflows, identify inefficiencies and implement practical process improvements.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, KPIs, reporting and process standards.
• Lead and support business improvement and system projects, from requirements through to implementation and sign-off.
• Work closely with Operations and IT to translate business requirements into effective system and process solutions.
• Monitor CargoWise usage, data quality and process compliance, identifying recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide guidance and first-line support on CargoWise processes and workflows, escalating genuine technical issues where appropriate.
• Carry out root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Support training, coaching and user adoption, including the development of CargoWise Super Users.
• Assess the operational impact of process and system changes to ensure solutions remain scalable, robust and fit for purpose.

About You

You will ideally have a background in freight forwarding operations combined with strong practical knowledge of CargoWise.

You may already be working in a Business Process, Business Systems, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or CargoWise-focused role, or be an operational CargoWise expert ready to take the next step.

You should bring:

• Strong CargoWise / CargoWise One experience within freight forwarding.
• A sound understanding of freight forwarding operations, ideally across air, ocean, customs or supply chain.
• Experience of process improvement, systems optimisation or operational excellence.
• An analytical approach to identifying process gaps and delivering practical solutions.
• Experience with SOPs, KPIs, data quality and process compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience of project delivery, system implementation, testing and change management.
