A leading global hedge fund is seeking a Business Intelligence & Data Developer to join its high-impact Reporting & Analytics team. This is an opportunity to sit at the intersection of technology, data, and decision-making — helping build and enhance systems that power operational insight and strategic thinking across the business.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, developers, and analysts to transform raw data into meaningful intelligence, supporting the firm’s continued growth and evolution toward next-generation analytics platforms.

What you’ll do

• Partner with business teams to translate requirements into structured reporting and actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards and analytics tools using Tableau and SQL-based data sources.
• Develop and optimise data pipelines and models to support self-service analytics.
• Ensure data accuracy through rigorous validation and reconciliation processes.
• Create engaging, consistent report designs that align with brand and user experience best practices.
• Contribute to documentation, training, and cross-team collaboration to promote analytical excellence.

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years of experience in data development, analytics, or BI roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and modelling.
• Deep understanding of Tableau (or similar tools) and visualisation best practices.
• Solid grasp of data architecture, schema design, and performance tuning.
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex technical detail into clear business insight.
• Financial knowledge is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or columnar databases (e.g. ClickHouse) advantageous.
