Cloud Engineer - Leading Systematic Hedge Fund - London
My client, a leading systematic hedge fund, is seeking an experienced cloud engineer (AWS) to join their infrastructure team in London.
This is a new position to help lead the expansion of their cloud environment. This will involved contribution to the development of their quantitative research platform, data ingestion pipelines and post-trade systems.
The successful individual will have previous experience with AWS and be an expert in Kubernetes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing a scalable cloud infrastructure to support various business divisions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in AWS and Kubernetes.
- Strong Terraform & Infrastructure as code knowledge.
- Experience with CNCF technologies such as Argo CD, Kyverno and Backstage.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CNCF certificate or similar
- Programming knowledge (Go, Python etc)
- Kubernetes operators
- Experience of automation through GitHub Actions or similar
