My client, a leading global hedge fund, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team in London.

Working alongside software and cybersecurity engineers, youll help design, build, and automate a hybrid multi-cloud estate across AWS and Azureenhancing CI/CD pipelines, observability, and developer experience. Youll take ownership of business-critical infrastructure, shaping cloud strategy end-to-end and collaborating with global teams across the US and Europe to drive efficiency and innovation at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain DevOps infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to accelerate and secure deployments.
• Automate provisioning and monitoring using Terraform, PowerShell, Python, and Kubernetes.
• Drive DevOps best practices, standardisation, and process improvement across teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient solutions supporting trading and risk platforms.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation, managing containerised environments with Docker and Kubernetes, and building robust CI/CD pipelines through tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Octopus. Youll also be adept at automating workflows in Python or PowerShell and implementing modern observability solutions including DataDog, OpenSearch, and LogicMonitor.
