Full Stack Developer (C#/Angular) - Leading Global Hedge Fund - Excellent Compensation + Benefits

I'm working with a leading global hedge fund that is looking to hire a mid-level Full Stack Developer to join their London office and help modernise and build out core applications used across trading, treasury, risk, and middle-office functions.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll develop tools that streamline workflows, improve data quality, and automate operational processes that currently rely on manual steps or external vendors. You'll partner directly with front, middle, and back-office teams to design technology that reduces operational risk and supports key business decisions.

It's an ideal role for someone who enjoys building end-to-end systems, has strong engineering fundamentals, and wants broad exposure across a complex investment platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop full-stack applications that improve efficiency and transparency across the firm's operational and trading ecosystem.
  • Build internal tooling to support collateral and liquidity management, margin oversight, PnL processes, and daily trade/position workflows.
  • Create integrations between in-house systems and external providers, enhancing data flow and reducing reliance on third-party manual processes.
  • Partner with operations, treasury, risk, and trading teams to understand pain points and design scalable technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the firm's internal technology stack, helping replace legacy or vendor processes with modern, automated platforms.
  • Work across the entire lifecycle of a project — requirements, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of software engineering experience within financial services, ideally supporting trading, risk, treasury, or middle-office teams.
  • Strong programming skills in C# or Python, and hands-on experience with a front-end framework such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server preferred) and experience building reliable backend services.
  • Experience developing tools or workflows that improve operational processes or data management.
  • Ability to work independently in a lean environment while collaborating effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and an analytical, problem-solving mindset.

My client is prepared to offer an excellent total compensation package, along with strong benefits and the opportunity to work closely with senior business stakeholders on high-impact engineering initiatives.
